Vaporesso XROS 6 & XROS 6 Mini Review

Vaporesso has just released two of the most anticipated pod kits of 2026 — the Vaporesso XROS 6 and the Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini

XROS 6 vs XROS 6 Mini: What's the Difference?

Before diving into each kit, it's worth understanding what separates the two. The XROS 6 is the full-featured "flagship" version with a colour TFT screen, button-or-auto-draw firing, adjustable wattage modes, and a larger 1800mAh battery. The XROS 6 Mini is the simpler, more compact version with no screen, no button, auto-draw only, Smart Mode wattage, and a 1600mAh battery.

Both run the same XROS pod range, both feature the new VENTURI airflow and SSS 2.0 leak protection, and both ship with COREX 3.0 mesh coil pods. Here's a side-by-side specs sheet.

Vaporesso XROS 6 Review:
Design and Build

The XROS 6 keeps the slim, pocket-friendly silhouette that made the XROS series famous, but stretches the body slightly to 122mm to fit the bigger 1800mAh battery. It weighs in at around 161g — still light enough to slip into a jeans pocket without noticing. Aluminium chassis, soft-touch painted finish on most colours, and that signature flat-side, top-fill pod design.

Screen and Controls

The 0.88-inch TFT colour screen is identical to the one on the XROS 5, but the menu system has been refined. You get four power modes:

Smart Mode — device auto-detects your pod resistance and sets the wattage automatically. Best for beginners.
Normal Mode — manual wattage adjustment, useful with 0.4Ω RDL pods.
Power Mode — dials output up for richer flavour from the same pod.
Eco Mode — dials output down to extend battery life.

Five quick clicks of the fire button toggles power on/off. Triple-click swaps power modes. Long press primes the coil manually. It's the same control scheme as the XROS 5 — if you've used one before, you'll be at home immediately.

Design and Build

The XROS 6 Mini retains the compact, button-free, screenless design that has made the XROS Mini one of the UK's best-selling beginner pod kits. It's slightly smaller than the full XROS 6, lighter in the hand, and prioritises simplicity over features.

Controls and Operation

There aren't any. That's the point. You fill the pod, wait 60 seconds for Smart Prime to saturate the coil, and inhale. The device automatically detects your pod resistance and sets the wattage via Smart Mode. There's an LED indicator on the base that pulses to show charge level when you draw.

For ex-disposable users and anyone who finds refillable kits intimidating, this is the entire selling point. Zero buttons, zero menus, zero settings. Just vape.
