This is a new addition to the popular Caliburn G range, which includes the Caliburn G, G2, GZ2, G3 and Tenet kits.
Details of The Uwell Caliburn GK3 Kit:
This device has the “K” in the name. This stands for “KOKO” (Keep On Keeping On) and means the device is the small square shaped version. This is an update to the GK2.
As with the recent Caliburn G3 – the series has gone a bit more technical with a screen and output adjustment!
The output is variable up to 25W and the segmented LCD display will show all of your user data. This also has a backlight option – reminds me of old digital watches!
Apparently using a segmented LED display should prolong the life of the screen plus use less power – meaning your battery life should be less impacted by a display. In fact Uwell say it uses less than 1% of the power that a colour TFT screen would use!
Inside the device is a 900mAh battery which should be charged in no time using the 2A USB C port.
There are two airflow settings, you change between these by removing the pod and rotating it 180°.
The device is compatible with the Caliburn G3 pods which no longer have replaceable coils.
There are 3 resistance options to choose from – 0.6ohm and 0.9ohm (included in kit) plus a 1.2ohm which is apparently on the way.
Depending on the capacity there are 2 different fill methods. The 2.5ml standard capacity pods have side fill ports and the 2ml (for TPD regulated areas) pods have a top fill port.
